Bali

Known as the ‘Land of the Gods’, Bali is undeniably beautiful. For a small tropical island, Bali has an amazing ability to provide something for everyone. Each region is so unique which makes it impossible to describe Bali as one destination. Take the time to visit chilled out Canggu with its beach bars and wholefood cafes. Enjoy shopping in the great selection of boutique shops in stylish Seminyak and dine where the restaurant scene is vibrant and eclectic and there is a contemporary nightlife. Or escape to Sanur, which is considered Bali’s first beach resort area but still retains its Balinese character and old style village ambience. The calmer waters of Sanur offer a lagoon style beach.

Boracay

With sand like talcum-powder, it’s as soft as sugar, as light as flour and brighter than both. The entire stretch of beach runs parallel to a sandy pedestrian walkway – the White Beach Path. Come nightfall, Boracay transforms from quiet and subdued to loud and vivacious so swap your juice for an aperitif and settle in for a bustling festivity of live music, fire dancers and illuminated palm trees.

Phuket and the islands

Combine the white of the sandy beaches with the green fronds of tropical palm trees, add in the golden sparkle of the sun dappling on the blue ocean, and it’s highly likely you’ve made your way to one of Thailand’s gems.

Islands like Koh Chang and Koh Yai are dotted all around the shimmering waters of Thailand, some uninhabited, but for those you can visit, you’ll be spoilt with scenery, cuisine and service. These islands may require a little bit more time and effort to reach, but they are truly unique. Their locations may not have been heard of before, but once you’ve been, you will remember them forever.
