West Coast

Wake up surrounded by lush native rainforest, put your hiking shoes on for a wander in a national park through caves or up to glaciers, enjoy pancakes for  lunch at the famous Pancake Rocks, take a relaxing kayak trip on one of the many stunning lakes, and finish your day with fish & chips on the beach for an epic West Coast sunset.

The West Coast has it all for getting off the beaten track, taking short side trips from the Great Ocean Road along the rugged coastline, popping into local pubs for some insider info on the best fishing spot, and visiting a UNESCO world heritage area in the Westland National Park.

Queenstown

Surrounded by remarkable mountain ranges, Queenstown will blow you away no matter what the season and is the perfect base for adventure activities and epic scenery.

Skydiving? Bungy jumping? Paragliding? Jet boating? Quad biking? Queenstown has it all to tick off your bucket list activities. There is a reason it’s known as the adventure capital of the world.

After a big day in the outdoors, head into the town centre for world class cuisine and varied nightlife - it is unbeatable in this resort town.

Stop and smell the rosé (and the pinot noir!) in the epic Gibbston Valley vineyard hub. Gorgeous family owned and established vineyards smatter this stunning landscape, with no shortage of options for lunches in the sun and new favourite drops to discover.

A scenic drive around the lake up to Glenorchy is the best way to appreciate the mesmorising Lake Wakatipu and appreciate more of this beautiful region.

Tasman Nelson

Bring along the sunscreen, you will need it every day in this stunning region, renowned for the most sunshine hours in New Zealand. Nelson city is the cultural heart of the region, filled with weekend markets, local art galleries and great cuisine, and the perfect stepping stone for exploring the area.

Head to the hot holidaymakers spot of Kaiteriteri, surrounded by golden sand beaches and the gateway to the Abel Tasman National Park. Home to one of our most popular Great Walks, this National Park can be easily explored by foot, kayak or boat, there is something for everyone here.

Over the Takaka hill, Golden Bay is filled with local secret sports – visit the seals at Wharariki Beach, explore the eco sanctuary on Farewell Spit, marvel in the crystal clear water at Te Waikoropupū Springs and then finish off the night at the Mussel Inn for great craft brews, local cuisine and live music.
